Sakura, Saku Extra *SPOILERS*
PE Class
Saku's class' PE teacher calls for the end of class and everyone starts gathering in the field.
Saku and Kotono are happy that it's over because the weather is cold. However, Saku notes that the boys are still energetic as ever, especially Mitoshi. Kotono remarks that he's from the soccer club, so he tends to get more excited.
Saku meets Haruki's gaze. He waves at her and she shyly waves back with a silly smile on her face. Standing right next to Saku, Kotono observes them and remarks that Saku and Haruki are a cute and heartwarming couple.
Giggling in response, Saku says that Kotono and Mitoshi are a refreshing couple, since Mitoshi is the athletic sort.
About Mitoshi
Kotono blushes a little and reveals that Mitoshi is actually surprisingly sweeter than he looks. Saku is surprised to learn that and agrees that it's unexpected. Kotono explains that it's because he shows that side of him to her only.
Saku asks Kotono what Mitoshi is like when they're alone together. Kotono describes that he would silently stare at her with a serious expression, carefully hold her hand and kiss it.
Saku blushes from hearing that. She thinks to herself that she can't imagine Mitoshi doing such a thing.
Kotono adds that they're not like this when outside, so Saku asks if they hang out at home often. Kotono answers that they don't get to meet often, because Mitoshi has club activities.
Kotono and Mitoshi
Just then, Haruki and Mitoshi call out to the girls. Mitoshi happily asks Kotono if he saw him shoot the goal earlier and Kotono says that she did. Saku looks at them and thinks about how Mitoshi is a romantic.
Kotono notices that there's a wound on Mitoshi's elbow. He explains that he got injured earlier. Kotono says that they need to go to the infirmary to disinfect it. Mitoshi tries to say that it'll be fine, but Kotono insists, saying that she doesn't want him to be hurting.
Mitoshi gives Kotono a gentle smile and says that he understands. They then head to the infirmary and tell Saku and Haruki to return to class ahead of them.
Saku thinks to herself that she got to see a glimpse of what Mitoshi is like when he's alone with Kotono. She turns around to glance at Mitoshi and Kotono again, and notices Mitoshi patting Kotono's head affectionately, while Kotono smiles happily.
Saku is very impressed and thinks that they truly seem like a couple.
Haruki and Saku
While walking together back to class, Saku glances at Haruki and recalls how Kotono had mentioned that Mitoshi sticks to her all the time. Saku wonders what it would feel like if Haruki was like that too.
Lost in her own thoughts, she doesn't hear Haruki talking to her. Haruki asks Saku if she heard him, and she apologizes, asking him to repeat himself.
Haruki mentions that they have a test coming up and asks her if she wants to study together during their next time off. Saku agrees to it, saying she needs help with math. Haruki smiles and says, "Okay, it's decided, then."
Meanwhile, Saku thinks to herself that she is happy to have the usual gentle Haruki, though...
Her thoughts are cut off by Haruki asking her where they should study. He mentions that they studied at a fast-food restaurant before; the library would be fine too. However, Saku suggests going to her house.
Haruki looks a little surprised at the suggestion but agrees to it. Saku feels embarrassed that she's getting ahead of herself and quickly excuses herself to go to the restroom, leaving Haruki alone to return to the classroom.
Haruki and Iryuu
Just then, Iryuu walks by. Haruki notices him.
Iryuu seems to have overheard their conversation, because he taunts Haruki about being invited to Saku's house to study and that he's thinking about lewd things. Haruki remains silent, then answers that it'd feel like he's pitying Iryuu if he said anything.
Both boys are irked at each other and proceed to ignore each other.
Meanwhile, in the restroom, Saku wonders if she was too bold in inviting Haruki to her house. However, she thinks that it would be nice to flirt in private, since they can't be like that in public. She feels excited for their home date (completely forgetting that it was supposed to be a study session). (This girl... is still so annoying 😤)
Study Date
On the day of their study date, Saku and Haruki are in her bedroom studying. Saku awkwardly thinks to herself that it's been 2 hours, but they've done nothing but study. She fidgets while thinking, 'Something's wrong... No... it's not wrong, but different...'
Haruki looks at her. He stares intently at her. Saku's heart races when she notices. He leans over towards her across the table and Saku blushes, probably expecting a kiss, but Haruki asks, "Where?"
When Saku looks confused, Haruki asks which part of her work she doesn't understand. Saku then stutters and points to a part in her notebook. Haruki finds it difficult to read upside down, so he moves to sit next to her.
Saku panics a little in her heart as he's now sitting closer to her. She can't stop thinking about wanting to just flirt with Haruki and feels embarrassed about it.
Treasures
Haruki then suddenly goes, "Ah, this."
He picks up the broken half of the eraser that he once gave to Saku and laughs that Saku didn't use it at all. Saku giggles and says that it's because it's a treasure that she received from Haruki.
She points at another item - a small soft toy that Haruki gave to her. Haruki says that he noticed it when he entered her room. Blushing, he says that he's feeling shy about how Saku cherishes the things he gave to her.
Saku blushes in response and both of them gaze at each other. Saku leans towards Haruki, expecting them to kiss, but Haruki asks, "So, where did I explain up to?"
Saku is stunned and quickly points to her notebook, again feeling embarrassed that she was anticipating them to kiss.
Saku's Thoughts
Saku thinks to herself that she was envious of Kotono and actions such as sticking to each other are probably not suited to herself and Haruki. She then thinks that she's probably the only one thinking about doing such things, which more than feeling embarrassed about, she feels more loneliness.
Haruki notices that Saku seems to be down about something and asks what's wrong. She answers that nothing's wrong, but Haruki asks if it was something he did.
Saku awkwardly answers that it wasn't something that Haruki did, rather, it's the opposite. Haruki then gets serious and asks Saku to talk about it, because he's already mentioned that he doesn't like leaving things unexplained.
Saku remembers that she also promised herself to be more honest with her feelings. She feels embarrassed, but shyly admits to Haruki that she wanted to flirt and be more lovey-dovey with him.
Haruki is surprised at first, going, "...Eh?", but when he sees Saku blushing like a tomato, he blushes too. Saku embarrassedly explains that she was jealous of Kotono and knows that they have their own pace, but she still wants to stick to each other and flirt.
Haruki's Thoughts
Understanding Saku's thoughts, Haruki then tells her to go over to him. She moves over and sits in front of him, apologizing for interrupting their study time. Haruki replies that it's fine, because nothing was going into his head anyway.
Saku is surprised to hear that and says that she thought she was the only one thinking about wanting to flirt. Haruki then blushes and asks if that's what she thinks of him.
Hugging Saku tightly from behind, Haruki says that he's also a normal, healthy, high school boy. Saku says that she's happy that Haruki feels the same. They then kiss.
After a few kisses, Haruki stops them and says that they should return to studying. Saku expresses her disappointment (because it wasn't enough for her). Haruki explains that if they continued, he would want even more and that is no good.
Saku blushes furiously when she realizes what Haruki means. Haruki embarrassedly apologizes for being a healthy high school boy and Saku also stutters in response, saying that her mother is downstairs. (This couple is so cringe help)
Saku's Bag
Trying to change the topic to diffuse the awkwardness, Saku asks if Haruki would like to view her graduation album.
When she retrieves the album, her old bag falls down from the shelf. Haruki notices the bag.
When Saku notices Haruki staring at the bag, she chuckles, saying that it's old, as it was handmade. However, she treasures it, because it was made for her by her grandmother.
Haruki recalls thinking to himself when he first saw the bag (from the time he unknowingly saved Saku on the train and returned her bag), that the bag must have been important to its owner. He silently stares at Saku while she puts away the old bag and shows him her graduation pictures. (Seems like he's realized that he was Saku's savior back then)
Saku notices Haruki's gaze and asks him what's up. He's smiling at her. He then says that he might have been born into this world to meet Saku. He asks Saku if she'd laugh at him for saying that.
However, Saku is so touched that she cries instead. Haruki laughs while consoling her.
